Whitehall Garden Club Scholarship Opportunity

The Whitehall Garden Club (WGC) is offering a scholarship in the amount of $1,000. The scholarship will be awarded to any Whitehall, Montana High School of Home School Graduating Senior. Students pursuing a corresponding course on the internet through an accredited institution will be considered. Adults who are working on degrees through an accredited institution will also be considered. The criteria for adults will be the same and must be high school graduates.

The WGC wishes to award the scholarship to a student who has been accepted to an accredited 4-year or 2-year Montana University or Technical School, or an adult pursuing a degree. Funds will be sent directly to the attending school.

Criteria upon which this scholarship will be granted are as follows:

• The scholarship must be applied for in writing and completed in total to be given consideration.

• A copy of the applicants college, technical school acceptance letter or proof of a correspondence course must be attached.

• Should the scholarship be awarded the student must provide an address of the scholarship/financial aid department at their attending school where the money will be deposited in their name.

• A letter of recommendation must be attached

• Applicant must be a U.S. citizen
