Serving Southern Jefferson County in the Great State of Montana

We Are HER Workshop Saturday; Retreat Apps Open

This in-person workshop is designed with survivors in mind, offering a welcoming space to explore healing through movement, journaling, and creative expression — at your own pace and in your own way. This program is free to survivors and limited to the first 12 participants; the class will be held in the Weaver Room at the Emerson Center in Bozeman at 10:30 AM. Register at https://bit.ly/4ln9Rhh.

We’ll begin by setting an intention for our time together, grounding ourselves in a supportive community. From there, gentle movement exercises will invite you to reconnect with your body in a way that feels safe and comfortable — whether that means participating fully, observing, or simply being present in the space.

Following movement, we’ll transition into a guided journaling and creative writing session. A thoughtful prompt will encourage reflection, expression, and connection with your emotions — without pressure to write “perfectly” or share unless you choose to. This is a space for your voice, your story, and your truth.

The workshop will close with a moment of gratitude and optional sharing, leaving you with tools to continue your healing journey beyond our time together. However you choose to engage, you are welcome here.

Local non-profit We Are HER (Healed, Empowered, Restored) has also opened its 5th Annual Survivor Retreat application. Join us for a transformative 5-day healing experience nestled in the serene mountains of Montana. Designed for 8 survivors of abuse, assault, or stalking, this retreat focuses on empowering survivors through trauma recovery education and fostering connections within a supportive community.

Applications are open April 8 - May 10, 2025. Visit http://www.weareher.net/retreat to apply.
