The Whitehall Garden Club will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, March 5th, in the Borden Conference Room at 103 W. Legion. The public is invited as we are excited to host Kaleena Miller, Agriculture and Natural Resources Agent of the MSU Extension Office here in Whitehall, for a special presentation on Windbreak/Shelterbelt Designs. Kaleena will cover species that work best in the Whitehall area, design and layout, establishment and care, as well as, answer any questions you have. This special program will begin at 11 AM.
Guests are welcome to join us in the Borden beginning at 9:30 AM to socialize and enjoy refreshments provided by our hostesses, Dorie Westhoven and Joan Myhre, with our business meeting starting at 10 AM. Special guest Tom Harrington, a Jefferson Local Development Corporation (JLDC) member, will speak on HFI Energy’s plan to develop a 500 MW (megawatt) Green Hydrogen Energy Park, in agreement with Barrick Gold Corporation and the JLDC, to advance clean energy and promote economic growth in our community. We hope you will join us for this very informative morning!
