Whitehall Chamber Corner: Help Us Help You!

We love seeing all the amazing events happening in our community, and we want to help you spread the word to as many people as possible. Whether you’re a Whitehall Chamber member or just planning something special, the Whitehall Chamber of Commerce is here to support you in promoting your event.

But here’s the thing: sometimes event posters lack key details that everyone needs to know—especially people who might be visiting, new to the area, or unfamiliar with past events. While you might know where your event is happening or the specific time, others might not!

Here are some common pieces of information that are often left off posters but are essential for your audience:

- Event Name

- Date and Time (be specific!)

- Location (don’t forget address!)

- Contact Information

- Event Details (What will people experience? Cost? Cash or cards?)

What can you do to make sure your event poster has it all? Simply send your poster to the Whitehall Chamber—no extra details needed! We’ll review it for completeness and ask any questions to ensure your event has all the information people might need. By taking this small step, we can help make sure no one misses out on your event because they didn’t have all the right details. Or you could just run the poster by a friend who is not a part of the event and see if they have any questions.
