Wildlife Yoga- Bats: Wednesday, October 2, 4 PM - 4:30 PM. What do bats eat? How do they hunt? What do they do in the winter? We will learn all this and more through basic yoga poses. This class is designed for 3-7-year-olds. Participants are welcome to bring a mat or towel, but it is not required.
Wildlife Storytime - Beavers: Tuesday, October 8, 4 PM -4:30 PM. Join us for a storytime about beavers. Learn about beaver habitat, food, and lodges. Create your own beaver lodge to take home! This program is great for young learners accompanied by an adult.
Building Habitat for Monarchs: Tuesday, October 22, 4 PM - 5:30 PM. Join us to play some monarch trivia, learn how to create pollinator habitats, and make milkweed seed balls to plant in your garden or a non-agricultural location! Plan to get your hands dirty.
Bat Talk: Tuesday, October 29, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM. The spooky season is approaching and so is bat week! Come and explore the fascinating world of bats and learn why they are important not only to our ecosystems, but the economy as well. This talk is great for adults!
Owl-oween: Thursday, October 31, 3 PM - 6 PM. Stop by Montana WILD for a spooky day of fun! We will have live raptor programs at 3, 4, and 5 p.m., a reptile and amphibian table with live animals, owl pellets to dissect, a bat cave, spooky crafts, and a photo booth set up with a variety of non-living props! Wear your costume! No registration is required.
