Montana Old Time Fiddlers Assoc. Pickin' at the Rock September 7th

The Montana Old Time Fiddlers present Pickin’ at the Rock, at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Boulder on Saturday, September 7th. This event will feature informal jams, music seminars, a barbeque/potluck and an evening concert.

The open old time music “jam” kicks off at 11 AM, and is open to all acoustic instruments. The afternoon seminars go from 1 to 4 PM. Player showcase will happen concurrent with the barbeque/potluck from 4:30 to 6 PM.

Music in the Barn, will start at 7 PM and last until the cows come home. Bring your family and friends, a potluck dish, your dancing shoes, and your jubilant smile! Admission is FREE and the public is welcome. For more info call 605-660-7511.

Campers are welcome to come in on Friday the 6th and stay through Sunday morning the 8th. Camping fees are $20 for dry camping and $30 for electric sites payable to the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. There are only 18 electric sites available on first-come-first-served basis.

The Montana Old Time Fiddlers District 3 is dedicated to the preservation of old time fiddle music in Montana, providing educational and performance opportunities for all.
