Location: Delta Hotels Helena Colonial, 2301 Colonial Dr. in Helena

Tickets: $30, available at http://www.rmdc.net

Rocky’s Head Start Program is committed to delivering high-quality, comprehensive early childhood development to low-income families in Lewis & Clark, Broadwater, and Jefferson Counties. The program ensures that all children, regardless of their family’s income, have access to the resources and support essential for their early development and future success.

Thanks to the community’s generosity at previous FOHS Extravaganza events, the Head Start Program has achieved remarkable milestones, including:

• Valley Head Start Building: The purchase of this facility in 2017 secured a permanent home for the children and families served by the program.

• School to Home Projects: Monthly initiatives providing every Head Start child with a new book, promoting a love for reading and learning at home.

• Bookshelf Build: An annual event where children construct bookshelves to store their growing collection of books from the School to Home projects.

• Parent Hardship Fund: A fund designed to assist families with essential expenses, such as birth certificates, driver’s license fees, medication, and even funeral costs, helping them navigate unexpected financial challenges.

• Classroom and Program Supplies: Ongoing support for vital materials and supplies needed for classrooms, parents, and various program activities.

• Dick Morgan Trike-Way: A recent addition at the Valley Head Start site, this trike-way, named in honor of a dedicated supporter, offers a safe and enjoyable space for children to develop motor skills.

The FOHS Extravaganza is a powerful testament to the community’s commitment to nurturing local families and ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive. Attendees can anticipate an evening of entertainment and philanthropy, knowing that their contributions will make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families in our community.
