Friday, August 2: Crow and Lakota Languages. Guest speaker Becky Warner, who is of Ni’kmaq and French-Canadia descent studies the Lakota and Crow languages She will give a beginning lesson on the Lakota language. 8 PM at campground amphitheater.
Saturday, August 3: Six Habitats of Lewis & Clark Caverns. Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park is comprised of 6 unique habitats. Join Ranger Ramona Radonich to learn about these habitats and where to find them. 8 PM at campground amphitheater.
Friday, August 9: Bats of Montana. Guest speaker Bryce Maxel will provide an overview of the bats of Montana, their amazing biology, their daily and seasonal routines the ecological services they provide, and the threats they face. 8 PM at campground amphitheater.
Saturday, August 10: Music Through the Years. Join musicians Donna Weldon and Ron Jung for music and a singalong through folk, country western, and contemporary music. 8 PM at campground amphitheater.
Friday, August 16: Ghosts of the High Country - The elusive Wolverine and Lynx in Montana. Guest speakers Kalon Baughan and Bret Davis will share their experience researching best practices and utilizing technology to monitor rare and elusive species non-invasively. 8 PM at campground amphitheater.
Saturday, August 17: Night Skies at Lewis & Clark Caverns. Ranger Ramona Radonich highlights the stories of the stars that you can see in the night skies over Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park in this popular program. 8 PM at campground amphitheater.
Friday, August 23: Ambassador Raptors! Join guest speaker Josie Salois to learn about and meet live raptors, or birds of prey, from Montana WILD’s wildlife center. 5 PM at campground amphitheater.
Saturday, August 24: Goodness Snakes Alive! Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park is home to the prairie rattlesnake, the most widespread of all rattlesnakes. Ranger Ramona Radonich will shed light on these remarkable creatures and how to stay safe when exploring rattlesnake country. 7 PM at campground amphitheater.
Friday, August 30: Nature Songs & Trivia. Singer-songwriter Kali Armstrong will present an evening of songs and sing-alongs to teach about the unique wildlife and geology of the park. 7 PM at campground amphitheater.
Saturday, August 31: This is Montana! State symbols represent what we love best about this place we call home. Join Ranger Ramona Radonich for the last summer evening program of the season to learn about these symbols and how they represent this land and the people who live here. 7 PM at campground amphitheater.
