Serving Southern Jefferson County in the Great State of Montana
Dear Editor,
I know this is two weeks too late, but better now than never. I am writing in support of Stacy Zinn, a candidate for the congressional seat Matt Rosendale left vacant.
I have met with Stacy several times; when she was in town last week, I had lunch with her at the Two Bit. (great food, by the way).
She is a small ball of fire. She has spent 23 years with the Drug Enforcement Agency. As an agent, she spent time at the southern border in operations targeting Mexican drug cartels.
During that time, she worked closely with the Border Patrol, who worked every day to stop deadly drugs and catch violent criminals before they entered the country. She was what they called a gun toter. I look at her small frame and reflect on the pictures of her all done up in protective gear and a rifle. She has been on support missions in the Middle East. Hunting out and destroying drug farms. The Taliban and Al Qaeda would sell the manufactured drugs to support their terrorist projects.
When she retired, she was head of the Montana DEA office. At 53, she had to take a permanent office job or retire. She chose to retire, but she still had a fire in her belly to serve the country in some form. She saw that opportunity when Matt decided not to run for another term.
Stacy understands Montana's problems. She knows about the American Prairie Reserve and the CSKT Water Compact. She is against foreign countries buying up American land and corporations buying swathes of land without knowing who and why.
She knows about the Pacers / Stockyard Act and that it is not being enforced. She loves the idea of term limits. She understands that bureaucrats have all the power and that it needs to end. She agrees that Universities promoting communism or terrorism should not receive our tax dollars. She understands that spending is totally out of control.
This little lady is a fireball and has been literally under fire for this country. She has a strong love for our republic and our way of life. I urge everyone to go to her Facebook page, read her posts, listen to her videos, and read her comments. She is not scared to answer questions.
You can find her Facebook page at Stacy Zinn for Montana. I'm in for Stacy Zinn and will proudly vote for her.
