Dear Editor: Support for Becky Beard

Dear Editor,

Jefferson County residents have the opportunity to elect an outstanding, proven Legislator from Elliston, Montana, to serve as our new State Senator in the newly drawn Senate District 38, which includes nearly all of Jefferson County.

I've known Becky Beard for over 25 years and always found her to be an upright, conscientious, and principled conservative who listens to her constituents and votes in line with our family and rural values.

With Becky, we have a wealth of experience and legislative clout, evidenced by the Governor choosing her to carry his signature income tax cut bill (SB121), passed into law this past session. This bill left more dollars in the pocket of every income taxpayer in the state.

As a former four-term Legislator from Cardwell, then Clancy, I very much appreciate that Becky is interested in solving problems and not just engaging in endless and pointless political theater with no plan.

Aside from that, she's a very personable and approachable neighbor who will visit with any of us about any issue.

Please join me in voting for Becky Beard.
