2024 Tri-County Candidate Roundup April 14th

The Jefferson County Republicans are hosting a Candidate Forum on Sunday, April 14, 2024, beginning at noon, to provide a public service to Montana voters and Republican primary candidates for Jefferson, Lewis and Clark, and Broadwater counties. The event will be held at The Barn at the Kleffner Ranch (305 Hwy 518) in East Helena. The Master of Ceremonies will be Matt Regier, Speaker of the Montana House of Representatives.

Attendees can see and hear candidates speak about their reasons for wanting the office they seek and tell voters their qualifications, followed by a Q&A session with the Emcee and candidates. A live stream of this event will also be available.

Attendees will be able to mingle with the candidates in an informal atmosphere before the Candidate Forum. The Jefferson County Republicans will not suggest nor favor any candidate.

This free-to-the-public Candidate Forum is intended to inform the voters, encourage them to decide about candidates, and get involved in the 2024 election cycle. Attendees may register to attend through WinRed at https://bit.ly/3J92pUW.

A no-host lunch with food trucks provided by Hardware Cafe and Firehouse BBQ, Hand Churned Ice Cream by Austin Young, and coffee and pastries by The Sweet Spot will be available.

SCHEDULE:

12 PM: Meet, Greet, and Eat - Attendees will have an opportunity to mingle with candidates in an informal atmosphere and have lunch before the Candidate Forum.

1 PM: Candidate Forum - Each candidate will have three minutes to give a "stump speech," followed by a Q&A period. Each candidate will have two minutes to respond to each question as asked by the Emcee.
