Whitehall Garden Club Offers $1,000 Scholarship to Graduating Seniors

The Whitehall Garden Club (WGC) is offering a scholarship of $1,000 to a qualified graduating senior from a Whitehall, Montana, high school or home school.

The WGS wishes to award the scholarship to a student accepted to an accredited 4-year or 2-year Montana university, college, or technical school. Students pursuing a correspondence course online through an accredited institution will also be considered. Funds will be sent directly to the attending school.

The criteria upon which this scholarship will be granted are as follows:

• The scholarship must be applied for in writing and completed to be considered.

• A copy of the acceptance letter from the applicant's college, university, or technical school must be attached.

• If the scholarship is awarded, the student must provide the address of the scholarship/financial aid department at their school, where the money will be deposited in their name.

• A letter of recommendation must be attached.

• Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.

The Whitehall Garden Club reserves the right to approve or deny all applications. Completed applications and all correspondence must be received by May 5, 2024, to WHS Counselor/Office or mailed to Ann Palmer WGC, PO Box 105 Whitehall, MT 59759. 406-490-1558 or ann.e.palme62@gmail.com.
