Henry "Hank" Randall Piazzola, 90

Henry Randall Piazzola fondly known as (Hank) 90, passed away peacefully at his home on February 15, 2024, with his loving wife Lynne of 55 years at his side.

Hank was born on August 11, 1933, in Dillon, Montana, to Lawrence and Nora (Paddock) Piazzola. His formative years were spent on a ranch in Pipestone, and he received his education from local schools in Whitehall. Shortly after graduating from high school, he worked as a fire control technician for the forest service. In 1967 Hank and his brother Jack embarked on a business venture, purchasing the Palm Bar and Bowling Alley in Whitehall.

In 1969, Hank married Lynne. Together, they lovingly nurtured their blended family of eight children alongside Joy (Periman) Williams and Janet and Butch Schelin

In 1975, Hank and Jack co-founded Piazzola Construction. As the years passed, Hank and Lynne embarked on new adventures, relocating to Priest Lake, Idaho, where they managed a small motel and restaurant. Later, they purchased an RV park in Noxon, Montana, where they resided for 25 years.

Hank found pleasure in assisting his family with construction projects, traveling, and watching his grandchildren play sports. Hank was a pillar of strength and support for his family. He was known for his ability to build anything, to stay strong and steady in the face of adversity, and to always stand by his family. He touched the lives of many who knew him. He was known for his generosity and willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. A celebration of Hank's life was enjoyed at his 90th birthday party.

Hank is survived by his wife, Lynne; seven children and their spouses: Randi Risher (Mike), Pam Piazzola, Karen Dorvall (Ron), Gina Piazzola, Lisa Lamere (Paul), Angie Piazzola, Brian Piazzola (Amy); 20 grandchildren and their spouses Tawna, Eric, Jesse, Echo, Ashley and Waylon, Courtney and Max, Carrie and Jake, Kailey and Jay, Jourdan, Travis and Jaimee, Tresa, Maressa and Johans, Jezza, Anthony, Rylee, Shea and Hannah, Brandon and Shay, Tyler, Maggie, Morgan; and sixteen great-grandchildren Kyra, Ella, Shadow, Ariana, Taylor, Cameron, Becca, Maddie, Cohen, Ryan, Calla, Jackson, Taylor, McKinley, Maverick, Isla, Loa, Lucy, and Miles. He is also survived by siblings Delia Coyne, Dan (Dianne) Piazzola; in-laws Sandy Piazzola, Janet Schelin, Tom Callaghan (Georgia) Pat Callaghan (Lynn) Dan Callaghan (Debra), and Glenn Callaghan, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In loving memory, he is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Nora Piazzola, son Scott, granddaughter Tresa, and siblings Harold Piazzola (Betty), Jack Piazzola, and Mary Alice Hoeme (Cecil), as well as his in-laws Gary Holliday (Linda), and Neil Holliday (Ruby).

Hank's memory will forever be cherished, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved him dearly. May he rest in eternal peace.
