Whitehall Rotarians Volunteer at Home Games

Whitehall Rotarians have been staffing the admission table for Whitehall High School home games in basketball, wrestling, and sometimes volleyball, for many years.

The club receives a donation from the school for club volunteer time. That money is then used by the Rotary club to help fund activities they support for students that have included dictionary/reference books for third graders, scholarships for graduating seniors, Rotary leadership camp, and Boys and Girls State.

The club has sponsored an Interact club at the high school and is working with school leadership to reactivate this student service club in the junior high school grades. Members of an Interact club learn about leadership, proper meeting protocol, and researching, organizing, and conducting local community service projects and at least one international project.

Whitehall Rotarians meet on the first and second Tuesdays of the month at the Trinity Methodist Church at 4:45 PM. Individuals interested in joining or even just volunteering to help with local projects can contact any current club member for more information.
