Last Mural Update for the Year Installed at K-Bar

The final two faded wood panel murals have been replaced with two vibrant, bright, beautiful new murals at the Rocky Mountain Bank and the Billsgary building (K-Bar).

The murals were again beautifully created by local Whitehall artist Kit Mather. Kit committed her entire summer and portions of her fall to their completion!

The murals were both put in place by Tim Geary and his crew. Tim gave his equipment and labor to ensure that the murals would be put in place securely and safely. Besides Tim, Blaine Myrstol, Ron Hunt, and Jerry Downey all gave several days of time and sweat.

The Whitehall Chamber Murals Restoration Committee is working on securing permanent signage that will last throughout the life of the replaced murals. What form this signage will take place is uncertain but it is expected to be determined soon. Anyone wishing to contribute financially to this project can make a tax-deductible check to JVCF and write "murals signs" in the memo. These contributions can be left at the Whitehall Chamber or the Whitehall Community Library.
