Frances Jean Dellinger, 86

Frances Jean Dellinger died peacefully on September 25, 2023, at the Parkhaven Retirement Community in Manhattan, Montana.

Frances was born in Whitehall, Montana on October 26, 1936, to Lulla and Goodlet Rogers. She attended Cardwell Elementary School and Whitehall High School.

Frances met her husband, Clyde Dellinger, where they both worked on the Shaw Ranch. They were married in 1953 and celebrated 41 years of marriage prior to his death in 1994. Frances and Clyde had three sons, Danny, Jerry and Bobby, and one daughter, Gayla.

Frances was a homemaker and gardener for 31 years while her husband Clyde worked at Trident Cement Plant. She loved doing crafts and made many things for her family and friends. She drove a school bus for the Three Forks School district for 11 years, and following her semi-retirement, continued working at the school as a Volunteer Foster Grandmother for 10 years. She loved spending time with children from kindergarten to fifth grade - assisting with craft projects and reviewing their school lessons.

In 1964, Frances became a born-again Christian and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Three Forks, Montana, where she was instrumental in getting the community Thanksgiving dinner started, serving meals to anyone who was in need.

Frances spent her final year and a half at Parkhaven Retirement Community playing bingo and spending time with her dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Clyde; son, Jerry; sisters, Betty Jo, Jody, and Jessie May; brothers, Jim, Ken, and Chuck; and numerous extended family members.

Frances is survived by her brother, Dick Rogers; sons, Danny (Judy) and Bobby (Susan) and daughter, Gayla (Rick) Kulawinski; 8 grandchildren: Misty (Craig) Masolo, Abbigail (Art) Day, Shawn Dellinger, Jeanine (Gus) Takala, Charles (Ashley) Goss, Rebecca (Chris) Willmarth, Tyler (Heather) Goss, and Renee (Cole) Young; and 16 great-grandchildren: Danielle, Megan, Shauna, Nicholas, Tanner, Hanna Rose, Alleigh, Garret, Brendan, Elizabeth, Greysen, Marlowe, Emitt, Bella, Lane, Chloe; 2 great-greatgrandchildren: Remington and Kaysly; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church in Three Forks, Montana on October 2. Interment followed in the Fairview Cemetery.
