Montana State University Extension and Sweetgrass Development will host a series of seminars on estate, succession, and legacy planning October 16-20.
The seminars will be led by Marsha Goetting, MSU Extension family economics specialist.
Topics will include families and legacies; avoiding probate on assets; and the advantages and disadvantages of living trusts, testamentary trusts, and wills.
The location, date, and time of each seminar are as follows:
• October 16, Choteau: 10 AM to 3 PM at the Stage Stop Inn, 1005 Main Ave. N.
• October 17, Browning: 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the Glacier Peaks Hotel Casino, 46 Museum Loop
• October 18, Shelby: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Comfort Inn and Suites, 455 McKinley Ave.
• October 19, Conrad: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Loyal Order of the Moose, 617 S. Main St.
• October 20, Great Falls: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Location to be determined.
Registration is $30 per person and includes lunch, snacks, and beverages. The registration deadline is Wednesday, October 11.
