Serving Southern Jefferson County in the Great State of Montana

Rockhounding Club Welcome Speaker Ramona Radonich

Join the Whitehall Rockhounding Club on Monday, March 20, at 5:30 PM at the Whitehall Public Library. Guest speaker Ramona Radonich will be discussing the basics between rocks and minerals. She will explain how to tell the difference between the different rock groups when out in the field, and will also present some tips on identifying minerals.

Radonich worked at the renowned Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals in Hillsboro, OR as the Museum Educator. She is excited to share the knowledge she gained there with aspiring rockhounds in our community.

“Montana is so geologically rich and diverse,” says Radonich. “It’s truly a rockhounder's paradise.”

The program will run from 5:30 - 7 PM. The program is free and open to the public.
