The Ladies Auxiliary is proud to introduce The Honorable Brian Morris as the guest speaker. Brian Morris was a student in Whitehall (Mrs. Brown was his teacher), moving to Butte Central, achieving academically and also in Football, Basketball, and Track, and later accepting a 5-year football scholarship to Stanford University. Morris continued at Harvard to complete his BS, MS, and jurisprudence degrees. After law school, Morris served as a law clerk for U.S. Supreme Court Justice William Rehnquist, the first Montana native to do so. After private practice, Morris was elected to the MT Supreme Court as a justice. He then received his judiciary commission as Judge for the U.S. District Court for Montana on December 17, 2013, becoming Chief Judge on March 19, 2020, continuing to the present day. His docket contains criminal and civil cases arising from Indian Country, including the Blackfeet Reservation, the Rocky Boys Reservation, the Fort Belknap Reservation, and the Fort Peck Reservation.
