Georgia, I have a question,
I (22M) was on Facetime with my girlfriend (20F) and my sister (11F) walks in. She has tears streaming down her face. I quickly move to comfort her. She comes in for a hug, and I hold her face while wiping a tear, asking her what happened (doesn’t matter, typical 11-year-old stuff).
My girlfriend is made uncomfortable by this and tells me that she thinks it's really weird to, as she put it, caress her face. I’m quite confused by this, as I consider this a normal interaction between us siblings. Am I in the wrong here? If so, I’d like to be corrected immediately.
Too Kind?
Dear Kind,
You can never be too kind. The fact that your eleven-year-old sister trusts her much older brother with her typical eleven-year-old stuff says that you mean the world to her and she trusts you.
I’m almost 51 here, and my brother will have been gone 22 years in a few weeks. I’d hug him so tight his scrawny butt would break if I could! Just hugged my other 56-year-old brother as he headed back home from our mom and Grandmother’s house after reading this. He read it as well as said he was sorry your girlfriend doesn’t have the kind of relationship you do with your siblings. I tend to agree.

Dear Georgia, I have a question,
I’ve never quit a job. How do I give my two weeks? And what do I say? The truth is I’m leaving because I hate this job and am getting another. I can’t lie about why I’m quitting because I’m worried my next employer might call for a reference.
Need a Reference
Dear Reference,
If you hate the job, bite your tongue when you give your two weeks, temper what you say, and make them appreciate your honestly. than you usually would. Tell them you are unhappy and unfulfilled with the position and that they, as employers, need someone who can give them their best. If there is someone who is making you uncomfortable at your job, at that is why you are miserable, make sure your bosses are aware - otherwise, the undesirable actions of your coworker will continue. Good luck.

Dear Georgia, I have a question,
Do you fart around your significant other?
Gassy
Dear Gassy,
Of course, I do! And you should too! Holding it in just makes you feel worse...and darling, it’s normal!
With love, Georgia
