Dear Editor: Response to Jon Goff's Article

Dear Editor,

After reading the article by Jon Goff in a recent Ledger pursuant to our “right to vote” and his statements of “a threat to our democracy” and his use of the term “Democratic Republic,” I about lost my lunch.

Yes, we all have the right to vote or not to vote. As someone who applies common sense, reason, and logic when it comes to voting, I could never condone voting for the lesser of two evils, which is what voters are constantly given. Did we not witness the 2020 election being outright stolen? If you do not believe this, then you still listen to and believe the fake lame-stream media. You have not done your own proper research or you’re just ignorant of the facts involved.

A threat to our democracy? Does anyone remember the Pledge of Allegiance where we say “...and to the republic for which it stands?” In a pure democracy, laws are made directly by the voting majority, leaving the rights of the minority largely unprotected. In a republic, laws are made by representatives chosen by the people and must comply with the Constitution that specifically protects the rights of the minority from the will of the majority.

With the above definitions, the term ”Democratic Republic” is an oxymoron. An oxymoron is a “contradiction in terms by pairing two words that are opposing in actual meaning.”

Over many decades, the American public has been deprogrammed into believing outright lies and perpetrating fake media, unholy Hollywood, the government, and many churches, causing them to abandon Almighty God and His laws. Case(s) in point, there are only two genders: male and female. Abortion is outright murder. Sodomy is a sin. Marriage is between a man and a woman, and two plus two is always four.

Interestingly enough, those that promote the opposite of the above statements are only one to three percent of the population. When will God-fearing men and women stand up and speak up in the name of Jesus and say “No!” to these lies that attempt to negate God’s hold word? Unless as a nation we repent and ask God for His forgiveness, our republic is doomed for destruction.

Last, no I am not a conspiracy theorist but rather a conspiracy analyst, and I fear God and His coming judgments.
