WHS Art teacher Gayle Walter showcased her students' artwork on what honor means to them at the widely attended Veterans Day Program on Friday, November 11.

FIRST PLACE ARTWORK: Brooklynn Lanes, a junior at Whitehall High, took first place for her pencil drawing. Lanes' brother recently graduated from the Marine Corps bootcamp and the above portrait bears a strong resemblance to Dallon Lanes.

SECOND PLACE: Whitehall High freshman Alexas Rector captured second place with her pencil and colored pencil eagle drawing.

THIRD PLACE HONOR: Trojan freshman Hannah Frazier took third place with the above "We The People" colored pencil piece.
