COUSIN CLEAVON'S REDNECK COOKING: Werewolf Drumsticks

Werewolves run rampant during the month of October, but you need to double-check it is not a kid dressed up. The way you tell the difference is the size and smell. Werewolves smell like grandma's house (old ham) and are taller than 6' 2". Kids are smaller and smell like mac and cheese.

Hunting for werewolves is very tricky. On the one hand, you don't want them to rip you to shreds and make you their dinner. On the other, it would be socially unacceptable if they were to transform back into humans during your killing or cooking.

For some reason, chicken coops are where werewolves love to be. So, after selecting a likely coop, you want to steal all of your grandma's silverware. You need it to line the chicken coop with, so if the werewolf touches it he starts to burn.

Bait the coop with old sheep's clothing. The beast will not be able to resist trying the outfit on. Once the werewolf is in the coop, close the door and determine if it is a werewolf. It should smell like old ham and have big eyes, teeth, and noses. Just to make sure it is a werewolf, spray it with brake fluid, This will make its eyes burn and paw at its face. If it's a kid, the mask will come off. You can apologize and go back to hunting.

Why brake fluid, you ask? It stops it from transforming back into human form. Then, after checking one last time it's not a big kid in a mask, you can kill it any way you want, as long as you stay on the other side of the silver.

You want to keep the legs on the werewolf, they are the best part.

INGREDIENTS:

4 werewolf legs, skinned.

De-bone if preferred, but then they won't be drumsticks, just floppy thingies, but easier to wolf down.

A brine like you made for your Thanksgiving turkey.

Salt and pepper

Smoker - use pine for the wood

DIRECTIONS:

Soak the 4 legs in your brine for about a day. Then start up your smoker and let it get up to temp. Hang the legs in the smoker.

Werewolf meat is like pork so it needs to reach an internal temp of 165 F.

Bon Appetit!
