At the annual Jefferson Local Development Corporation awards banquet, held Wednesday, August 17 in Boulder, two of Whitehall's Chamber of Commerce Board member businesses were honored, Settings by All Things Montana (Whitehall) and Arctic Heat (Boulder). Nature Story Montessori (Montana City) was also honored with the Community Improvement Award.
"I feel humbled and honored to be chosen. Settings is a labor of love and it feels amazing for others to see its value, " said Pamela Polachi, Whitehall Chamber of Commerce President. Settings, located at 11 North Main Street, received the prestigious Business of the Year award.
"It is an extreme honor to be chosen," said Chamber board member Carey Burnside, who along with her husband Rich, owns Arctic Heat which received the Innovative Business of the Year Award. "When Eric [Seidensticker, from JLDC] called to let us know we had been chosen, he said they were always impressed with how we approached our business. This award is a real honor for us to receive."
Seidensticker said that he and his staff brainstormed for candidates for each award that would represent the entire Jefferson County, and came upon Settings, Arctic Heat, and Nature Story Montessori as their 2022 winners.
