Kathryn Ann Ingrando, 87

Kathryn Ann Ingrando, 87, of Davie Florida, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022, surrounded by her children and their love.

Kathryn is survived by her sons Joe, Gregg (Omy), Gary; daughter Cathy; grandchildren Dalton, Kassandra, Dylan, Dominic, and Katharine; and great-granddaughter Leah.

Kathryn is preceded in death by her husband Joseph; brother Chuck and parents.

Kathryn was born on August 1, 1934, in Butte Montana to Charles and Ann (Lasich) Metully. She grew up on the family ranch on Jefferson Island in Cardwell, Montana. Kathryn (Kay) graduated Valedictorian of her High School class and later graduated from Seattle University with top honors in nursing.

While vacationing in Europe with her lifelong best friend Marcy, she met the love of her life, Joseph J. Ingrando, in Rome. They married on September 12, 1964, and had four children. In 1971, they moved their young family to Hollywood, Florida.

Kay restarted her nursing career at Miami Lakes Technical Education Center. She enrolled in Nova College where she earned her master's degree in Education. She eventually became Department Head of Nursing, where she remained until retirement.

Kay enjoyed traveling with her husband and together they traveled the world.

Kay became a grandmother when Dalton was born followed by Kassandra, Dylan, Katharine, and Dominic. The endless love that she had for them forged a unique and special bond that they will cherish forever.

We feel lucky to have had such a devoted, caring, and selfless mother. We will always think of her with love and hold our memories deep in our hearts. We will miss you for the rest of our lives.
