Dannysue Von Duyke, 78

Dannysue Von Duyke, age 78, of Broomfield, Colorado passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022, from complications associated with Alzheimer's Disease She was known as "Danny" in Colorado, and Sue to her Montana Family. She is survived by her husband, Tom, her son Richard, her daughter Joey(Mike) Sturm, eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Wade (Nancy), Dean, Jim (Ginger) Miller, Rob (Maureen) Martin, Marlene (Don) Hunt, Kathy (Jack) Jensen, Bill (Liz) Michalak, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Danny was born in Los Angeles, California but moved to Montana with her dad, Homer, and her "forever" mom Selma, when she was five years old. She grew up in tiny Cardwell, Montana but always longed for a life in the big city. She moved to Denver, Colorado shortly after graduating high school, where she met Tom, the love of her life. They were married for 59 Years.

Danny loved to dance and was an excellent cook. Many of her dishes were legendary. She was very interested in ancestry and spent a lot of hours researching her heritage.

Danny was adored by all that knew her, especially her grandchildren. She loved to have them over for tea and crumpet parties, where they had to dress for the occasion, hold their "pinkies" out properly, and talk in a British accent.

If there was someone that spoke volumes with their eyes, it was Danny. She had definite looks that were undeniable. The one that made everyone nervous, was her "someone is about to get pranked" look. She loved playing jokes on people and was really good at it.

Danny will be missed by so many people that loved her. She was a beautiful person, inside and out.

She is preceded in death by her beloved grandson, Quinton, who is undoubtedly enjoying a cup of tea with his Oma in heaven.
