"Whitehall's Wild West" on Saturday, July 23rd at 11 AM with a festive parade! The parade will begin lineup at the Whitehall Country Store east of town and proceed down Legion Avenue, bringing merriment with each passing float. The parade route will proceed West on Legion Avenue from D Street to Stanley, then disband behind Legion Park near the railroad tracks across from Family Dollar. The parade will not make a return trip down Legion.
The Grand Marshal of the 2022 parade is the Jefferson Valley Search & Rescue team. JVSAR is a volunteer organization that exists to assist the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office in the performance of search and rescue missions.
Organizers are still accepting parade entries with a deadline of July 21st at noon to enter. Parade entries may be picked up at the Whitehall Ledger (15 W Legion) and the Chamber of Commerce office (501 N Whitehall).
This parade, put on by the Whitehall Chamber of Commerce, does not allow last minute entries; please register by the 21st!
The "Whitehall's Wild West" parade will include four categories: Commercial/Business, non-commercial, animal, and youth. Entries are encouraged to use their imagination with this year's theme and use this as an opportunity to show your community spirit and support!
Bring your lawn chairs, stake out a great viewing spot, and get ready to enjoy "Whitehall's Wild West!"
