Serving Southern Jefferson County in the Great State of Montana
Let me be completely honest. The moment I put a newspaper edition to bed I am immediately beginning the next one. My computer layout is always a week ahead, while events of this week are still happening, and my brain is all over the place. Really, I'm not even sure my brain is attached to anything anymore, I feel like it is always just spinning.
Last week I goofed. And I goofed big. When the election happened on Tuesday, June 7, that week's paper was already at the printing press. When I delivered it around town on the 8th, everyone was already talking about whether or not the official primary election results had been released and what the outcome was.
When I put out last week's paper my brain was already long past the election results. And therein lies my mistake. While the election results were a week old, they had yet to grace the pages of the Ledger. And yep, a LOT of you took notice!
My apologies to the candidates, the mill levy issues, and everyone! Honest to goodness, I forgot!
