Gold Junction Presents Free Summer Movie Series Begins June 8

Gold Junction Presents... is excited to announce the Family Adventure film series, as well as the Western Classics series. The Family Adventure series kicks off June 8 with Sing; the Western Classics begins July 7 with Rio Bravo.

Both series are free to the public, though donations to the organization to put future events like these on are appreciated.

The Family Adventure Series films will be introduced by an Adventure Guide, who will educate attendees briefly on cultural aspects of the featured film and items of interest to look for. The Adventure series will show a film each Wednesday, June 8 through July 27 at 1 PM. This series includes Sing (June 8), The Lego Movie (June 15), The Land Before Time (June 22), The Muppet Movie (June 29) Space Jam (July 6), Harry Potter & the Sorcerer’s Stone (July 13), Balto (July 20) and Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (July 27).

The Western Classics series will be held each Thursday from July 7 to August 11 at 7 PM. The western series includes Rio Bravo (July 7), The Rounders (July 14), Blazing Saddles (July 21), Jeremiah Johnson (July 28), The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (August 4), and Pale Rider (August 11).

These movie series are made possible by the Whitehall Medical Clinic, Manhattan Plumbing & Heating, Jefferson Valley Community Foundation, Arctic Heat, Faith Conroy, and Jim Wilson.
