Dear Jo,
Have you ever caught yourself doing something and then were horrified at the thought someone would find it gross, weird, etc?
I have done so several times in the last few months. For example, eating with my head down like I am starving, comfortably farting or itching my butt on the way to the bathroom. I have been alone too long. What if I did any of those things (or the worse ones I will not be writing about!) in public because I have become too comfortable?! How the heck do I make sure that never, ever happens?
Signed,
Disgusted with Myself
Dear Disgusted,
Wow! I can feel your tension from here!
First, STOP THE GROSS BEHAVIORS! All of them! What is wrong with you? Just kidding!
Do you think you are the only one itching your backside on the way to the bathroom? You are not! Second, farting is natural, everyone does it. Third, seriously, do NOT shovel food into your face with your head down. Not on a train, not on a plane, not on a boat, nor with a goat. Just don’t.
The behaviors you are scared to even mention, don’t do those either!
Signed,
Jo
Dear Jo,
I really don’t need any advice this time around! I just wanted to say HI! Keep on with your vibrant work.
