Dear Jo,
How do you feel about people sharing your food? How about your drink? My aunt is always taking bites of my food, a sip of my drink. I don’t want to be a picky or a germophobic person, but I wonder where her hands and lips have been before they partake of my goodies. How do I tell her in a way she will not be offended that I wish she would keep her saliva to herself?

I Spit You Not
Dear Spit,
The best way is the honest way. “Keep your drool and your germy hands off my food!” is a good place to start!! Let me know how it goes.
Signed, Jo
Dear Jo,
I talk to dead people. I know, weird. I am not “in touch” with dead people like a medium or anything I just chat with them when I feel like it. My family thinks it is weird, but it gives me the comfort to talk things out. They don’t interrupt or tell me their unwanted opinions. Do you think I am creepy?

One-Sided Conversations
Dear One-Sided,
You just continue to talk to whoever you want in whatever way you want. Most people react to something because they cannot relate. You may want to keep the volume down in public spaces, but keep doing you.
Signed, Jo
