Local Face Joins Team at Pulse Hair & Nail Salon

March 17th isn't just St. Patrick's Day this year, but also the beginning of a long-awaited career for Deidre DuBois. Just one month after graduating from the Butte Academy of Beauty Culture, she will begin at Pulse Hair & Nail Salon in Whitehall.

"This is what I've wanted to do since high school," DuBois said with a smile. "This is what I'm supposed to be doing. It just took me twenty years to get here."

Born and raised in Whitehall, DuBois is excited to bring her services to the locals of Whitehall. A mom of three (Blake 17, Payton 14, and Jakob 11) she plans on keeping her career in Whitehall as long as she can, noting that the area is home to her kids' friends, her parents, and her extended family.

The last year has brought big changes for DuBois; she focused on her career goals after being laid off during the height of COVID-19, got engaged to her boyfriend of five years Tony Randall, completed the 1500 hours of training required for graduation, and is now making her dream come true.

"I'm here. I don't want to work outside of town. I want to serve the community I grew up in," she said.

DuBois will be available Wednesdays and Thursdays, with walk-in haircuts available. She will provide all hair services for men, women, and children, including balayage, highlights, deep conditioning, and color, as well as waxing. Her favorite service she offers is vivid coloring; out-of-the-normal colors that make a radical change.

"I love seeing the distinct changes vivid coloring can provide," she said, adding that her daughter currently has a vibrant head of reds, pinks, and purples. "It's really fulfilling to see."

Deidre is available for hair and waxing services by appointment at Pulse by calling 406-287-9306 or by walk-in for haircuts only.

Congratulations on beginning your new adventure with Pulse!
