Lois Landis passed away on December 16, 2021, after a short illness in Kingman AZ.
Lois was born in 1937 in Butte Mt. to Bruce and Faye (Miller) Landis. She attended Cardwell Grade School, Whitehall High School, and Montana State University School of Nursing. She graduated with a BA in nursing and after serving 2 years with the United States Navy she continued her nursing in numerous locations in Montana, Wyoming, and eventually California.
Lois had a never-ending desire to learn so after many years in the nursing field she decided to learn all about computers. She went to work for Los Angeles County as an IT technician. She retired from this job in 2005 and moved to Kingman where she resided until her passing.
Lois had no siblings but is survived by her beloved cousins, Lavonne Hunter, Dannysue VonDuyke (Tom), Elaine Wilkinson, Wade Miller (Nancy), Bob Wilkinson, Dean Miller, Jim Miller (Ginger), Marlene Hunt (Don), Rob Martin (Maureen), and Kathy Jensen (Jack). She was preceded in death by her parents and her cousin, Ron Wilkinson. She was an amazing woman and a very caring person who will be greatly missed.
At Lois' request, there will be no services; interment will be at Fort Harrison in Helena, Montana.
