It will be a full day of music with vendors and food at the 13th Annual Boulder Area Chamber of Commerce Music and Arts Festival, Saturday, September 11th at Veterans Park in Boulder.
The music begins at 11 am and will continue all day until 7 pm with a wide variety of skilled musicians. Admission is FREE.
The entertainment starts with Homemade Jam out of Whitehall playing Americana and classic rock. Get ready for something for everyone - with fresh spins of the Eagles, the Beatles, Janis Joplin, and more.
At Noon Helena’s Dan Henry combines his guitar with the bluesy sounds of harmonica and unique vocal stylings.
Hailing from Boulder, Clancy and Helena, Backroad Betty is a trio of women musicians who play Americana, blues and swing. The group blends guitar, banjo, bass, and vocal harmonies to produce a lively sound. They will perform starting at 1 pm.
At 2 pm, Lance Handyside from Jefferson City brings a blend of southern rock, country/blues with a dash of traditional bluegrass flare.
The Ty Stevenson Band performs at 3 pm. Ty and his band play country music and their portfolio includes 100 personally written songs.
Whitehall’s John Montoya hits the stage at 4 pm. He has been playing his music locally for over 30 years and he performs a little country, a little rock, old and new while playing the guitar.
Music Festival regulars Brigid Reedy and her brother Johnny Guitar play at 5 pm with classic country music and Brigid plays the fiddle. The duo has been part of the Music and Arts Festival for years and the youngsters are a crowd favorite.
Boulder’s very own Clint Rieder and the Longhorn Band will perform country dance music old and new beginning at 6 pm. The group is celebrating its 10th anniversary playing as a band, and it all began at the Music and Arts Festival in Boulder.
