Gonna be a busy weekend!

Are you ready for a good time?! I am! And let me tell you, Whitehall’s 2021 Frontier Days looks like it is going to be just that!

Frontier Days, for me, began last week with me trying to get the paper out on time with a massive Frontier Days special section. What started off as a four page special section soon grew into a 12 page feature section! It is so great to see so many businesses working towards specials, events, and more at their locations during Frontier Days!

The Whitehall Chamber of Commerce has put blood, sweat, and tears into this year’s Frontier Days, working to make it the biggest ever! We’re able to gather, to be out in open air, and celebrate REDISCOVERING life again after COVID-19 (yes, I know there is a new variant, but let’s think positively for just this weekend, while staying safe and healthy!) “Rediscover Whitehall” is the theme, and like I said before, we should also rediscover life once again, for as long as we can!

One thing to please remember this weekend: this is a volunteer organized event. The Chamber is doing the best they possibly can. Please be respectful of the event, and even help out if you are able. If you see trash on the street, take a moment and pick it up. If you see a Chamber member in a turquoise shirt running round like a chicken with their head cut off (yes, that will be all of us) maybe ask if they could use a few minutes of your assistance to get them back on track.

This is a community event that the entire town of Whitehall takes pride in - so have fun, be safe, and enjoy!
