Gun Show, Community Garage Sale and More!

This weekend is looking to be one of the busiest yet, with Whitehall Gun Show, the Whitehall Community Garage Sale, Beats & Eats on Saturday, and Ladies Day Out at the Star Theatre on Sunday. With all the fun in town, there’s no reason to venture out of town!

Whitehall’s annual gun show is just a few days away and booths for the event are nearly sold out!

The Whitehall Gun Show, hosted by the Whitehall VFW and American Legion, will run Friday, June 25 through Sunday, June 27 at the Whitehall Community Center, located at 11 N. Division Street in Whitehall.

The event, which is limited to 100 tables, is open to the public Friday 2PM to 6PM, Saturday 9AM to 6PM, and Sunday 9AM to 3PM. Admission is$3 for the entire weekend; free admission for children under twelve, though they must be accompanied by an adult.

All net profit will be donated to the Whitehall VFW/American Legion.

Also, this weekend is Whitehall’s Community Garage Sale, with individual garage sales happening throughout the community. As of Tuesday, June 22nd, the Whitehall Chamber of Commerce has ten sales listed on the map - maps will be printed before noon on Thursday. If you are late to the game and just deciding to have a sale this weekend, please call the Ledger as soon as possible to register your sale for $5 (which goes to the Chamber) and be placed on the map. Maps will be available Thursday afternoon at the Whitehall Chamber kiosk, on the Whitehall Chamber’s Facebook page, as well as at Thriftway, Whitehall Community Library, Pepper Tree Deli, and the Ledger. Maps will also be available Saturday at all participating sale locations and the Whitehall Farmer’s Market.

After you’ve found all the treasures you didn’t know you needed at the Gun Show and the community garage sale, bring a lawn chair down to the Main Street Green next to the Star Theatre and listen to some great music by musicians from around the state. Currently slated are six music acts coming as far as Missoula and Bozeman, all to entertain you free of charge!

This event, brought to you by Homemade Jam & Friends, Gold Junction Presents, and the Whitehall Chamber of Commerce will run from 2PM to 6PM. A menu is provided to all attendees, featuring one item from local restaurants, which can be ordered onsite and will be brought to your seat while you are listening to tunes and enjoying local vendors set up in the park. Food orders are requested by 3:30PM and food will be delivered between 4PM and 4:30PM. Check out the menu and order form on page 13!
