Missouri Headwaters Summer Speaker Series: Music from Rob Quist

Missouri Headwaters State Park will host a free concert featuring Montana musician Rob Quist on Saturday, June 12, at 7 p.m. in the park campground. Bring your own lawn chair. A marshmallow roast will follow.

The 2021 theme for the park’s Summer Speaker Series is “Significance of Public Lands.” Rob will kick off the series with his original music about the lives and history of the people of Montana, including “Close to the Land” and “America … Pass it On.”

The park will host a different speaker every Saturday until Aug. 14, with different topics focusing on the significance of public lands.

About the speaker: Rob is a celebrated Montana musician who has toured nationally. He has been a featured performer throughout the country and has made a musical journey that stays close to his roots. His songs are about Montana, its history, and the people and animals who call Montana home. He preforms both solo and with the Mission Mountain Wood Band. Come join us for a wonderful evening of homegrown music with on of Montana’s best musicians.
