Serving Southern Jefferson County in the Great State of Montana
Give them a HONK in honor of their accomplishments this Thursday afternoon when you drive by Legion Park!
The Whitehall Chamber of Commerce is proud to put on the first annual 8th Grade Promotion/12th Grade Graduation BBQ this Thursday, June 3rd at Legion Park from 5-7p.m. All promoting 8th graders, graduated seniors, and their families are invited to attend.
The Chamber is hoping all members of both classes, as well as their parents, will come out and celebrate their student’s accomplishments, have some great food, share a few laughs, and kick the summer off with a great event!
RSVPs are requested to the Whitehall Ledger as soon as possible at 287-5301 or to whledger@gmail.com. Burgers, hot dogs and sides will be served. Trojan gear, as well as other fun gifts, will be given out to attendees.
This event will permanently replace the 8th grade promotion ceremonies previously coordinated by the Whitehall Schools.
The Army National Guard recruiter will also be on hand with the rock climbing wall and lots of information for those interested!
Jefferson County Mental Health and Prevention will present a screening of “If They Had Known” at the Star Theatre immediately following the BBQ. This free short film is a documentary written by kids to kids about the risks of current party culture. Many door prize giveaways, including a smart TV, will be available to graduates. Free popcorn and soda will also be provided to 2021 graduates and their parents for attending.
The Whitehall Chamber would like to thank the following businesses for their support of this event: Montana Real Estate Hunter, Whitehall Drug, Golden Sunlight Mine, Cliff’s Automotive, Mountain View Real Estate, ACE Hardware, Smith Supply, A Insurance Agency for You, Jefferson Valley Property Management, K-Bar, Settings, Peppertree Deli, WB Transport, Cottage Floral, Pulse Salon, Tona’s Treasures, Star Theatre, High Peaks Federal Credit Union, Jefferson Fresh Foods, Bluebird Coffee, Jefferson County DUI Task Force, Arctice Heat, Johnson Custom Fencing, Liberty Place, Bordens, Subway, and the Whitehall Ledger.
