Katie Whitehurst finished 6th in the 200 and second in the 400 in Hamilton at the A-B-C top 10 meet. Maxine Hoagland finished 6th in the 100 at the top 10 meet in Hamilton.
At the top 8 meet in Anaconda Dylan Smith finished second in the shot put and 4th in discus. Brendan Wagner finished 6th in triple jump.
Other top 8 competitors were Miles Hoerauf in the Javelin, Parker Wagner in the long jump and Gryphon Lombardi in the 4x4 relay.
Livingston was a great day for our athletes.
Katie Whitehurst had a great day finishing 1st in the 200 and 400 meter races. Katie's time of a 26.57 broke our school record! All of her hard work and dedication is definitely paying off and she is continuing to get better each week.
Maxine Hoagland finished second in the 100 and 200 meter races with personal bests in both races. Cecilia Madden also had personal bests in the long jump and 800 meter run.
On the boys side Dylan smith placed 6th in the 100 meter, 2nd in shot put, 4th in discus, and 5th in javelin. He had personal bests in the 100 meter and Javelin.
Parker Wagner also placed 6th in the 100 meter, 5th in the long jump, 4th in the 400 meter and 200 meter. He had personal bests in the 200 and 400 meter races.
Miles Hoerauf placed 5th in the 200 meter and 3rd in the Javelin with personal bests in both events.
I'm looking forward to an exciting post-season. Our kids have been getting better each week and their hard work is really starting to show with so many personal bests coming last week.
We currently have two auto qualifying members on the team. Both Katie and Maxine have auto qualified for the state meet in Laurel coming later this month.
