Dr. Meyer Begins New Adventure in Medicine

Dr. Kathy Meyer has owned and operated Whitehall Chiropractic for the last 26 years, providing our little community with the best in chiropractic care. Now an exciting new adventure has placed itself in front of Dr. Meyer and she is excited to embrace it and bring her patients along with her on this medical journey.

"I'm not shutting down - I'm moving forward," Dr. Meyer said with a smile. "This is a great opportunity not only for me, but for my patients." May 28th will be Dr. Meyer's last day at the Whitehall office, moving her practice to Ruby Valley Medical Center, located in Twin Bridges and Sheridan, where she has been working part-time for the last two years. This change to a dynamic medical model, where patients have immediate access to comprehensive care through multiple providers, is something Dr. Meyer cannot wait to share with her patients.

"This really is a 21st century approach to healthcare - but patients will still get the small town feel and attention to detail they've come to expect from me," she said. Ruby Valley Medical Center is one of three medical facilities in the state of Montana with this integrative model. Dr. Meyer will be part of center which provides a primary care physician, osteopath, multiple nurse practitioners, pain specialist and full hospital facilities, as well as access to multiple visiting specialists in cardiology, general surgery, podiatry and hearing. making for a state-of-the-art comprehensive care program big cities are known for - right here in rural Montana.

Meyer, personally, will continue to live in Whitehall and commute Monday, Wednesday, Friday to Sheridan and Tuesday and Thursday to Twin Bridges, with office hours from 9a.m. to 5p.m. A longtime resident, Meyer's daughter Rachel, who will be entering into ninth grade, will continue schooling in Whitehall. Meyer's oldest daughter, Rebecca, graduated from WHS and now is an illustration major on the east coast at the University of Hartford.

"It's been a source of joy and a great privilege to serve my patients for the last 26 years," Meyers said. "Now I'm moving forward to something very progressive, something I believe is in the best interest for all my patients." Meyer noted that patients will still experience the same quality care, but with the added benefit of a plethora of healthcare all under one roof.

So, while the Whitehall Chiropractic building may eventually house a new entity, the care and service Dr Meyer is known for is just a short drive to Sheridan or Twin Bridges, where total body healthcare awaits!
