Greater Whitehall Area Love Inc.

Greater Whitehall Area Love In the Name of Christ (GWA Love INC) is thankful to have this opportunity to share about our mission in the Whitehall community. We were established in August 2016 with a Board of Directors consisting of: Chairman of the Board, Ron Jung; Treasurer, Karen Burtch; Secretary, Dawn Huckaba, and Pastor Hope. The working staff consists of an Executive Director, Deanna Smith and Connection Coordinator, Denise McCord.

Each local Love INC affiliate is part of a nationwide network of 140 affiliates in 30 states, 7 in Montana. Through local churches, agencies, and volunteers, Love INC coordinates service- a relational response to callers that brings together volunteers and resources. GWA Love INC is committed to providing for our local needy families and the elderly in our community. Our affiliate works with a coalition of Whitehall churches and volunteers that have been trained to serve any who call with a need. Our volunteers have a heart and compassion for the people of this community. Our local churches support us financially, with encouragement, and by inspiring their members to volunteer.

GWA Love INC encourages clients to learn accountability and participate in their own solutions, emphasizing a hand up not a handout ministry while balancing love and respect for each individual. GWA Love INC staff have been trained to know how to reach out to the generational poverty stricken as well as the sick and elderly in our area. In many cases our citizens do not have nearby families to help take care of them. Anyone in need is encouraged to call our office, help is available to any citizen in the Whitehall and surrounding area. Thank you for your support of the GWA Love INC.
