300 Vaccines for 60+ or 16+ with Medical Conditions

Three hundred Pfizer vaccines will be distributed at Whitehall High School March 23rd from 9am - 3pm. Please show up 30 minutes to 1 hour prior to your appointment if your appointment is at 10am or later. We have more vaccinators than the schedule can reflect, so we will be proceeding more rapidly than indicated. Walk-ins will not be allowed, but same-day appointments might be available.

If you would like to be placed on a standby list for this clinic if you are not over 60 years old, call 406-299-0561, and leave a message with your name and phone number, saying you want to be on standby for any extra vaccine at the March 23rd clinic.

The easiest place to sign up is townofwhitehall.org. You will see a link to make your appointment and a link to complete your paperwork. To view a list of underlying medical conditions, visit http://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus.

If you are unable to sign up online for an appointment, please call 406-299-0561. A Jefferson Valley Rural Ambulance District volunteer will return your call in the evening and help you set up an appointment and complete your paperwork online. This phone line is not for medical questions.

Please bring your insurance card to the vaccine clinic. If you do not have insurance, the shot will be administered free of charge.

Whitehall Public Transportation will do their best to assist the Whitehall community for the vaccination clinic on March 23rd. Once your appointment has been scheduled, please call to schedule your ride at 287-3156.

This clinic is being held in the Northeast (Home Ec) portion of the high school, and the rear doors will be in use. Please follow the signage for parking and do not use the front doors of the school. Park as if you were going to a football game. School will be in session and due to COVID restrictions, guests are not allowed in the parts of the building where students are present.

The vaccines for this clinic are being provided by Elkhorn Pharmacy/Whitehall Drug. The clinic is being coordinated through the Jefferson Valley Rural Ambulance District, and all costs incurred will be reimbursed through federal coronavirus relief monies.

Apointments can be made from 9-2pm for age 60+ and medical conditions.

Each person needs to do 2 things to get scheduled.

The Whitehall Library staff is available to help people get signed up for this clinic. Do not call the school for details. They are allowing the use of their facility, but they are not coordinating appointments or giving information.

Bring your insurance card to the appointment if you have insurance. If not, the vaccine is free.

The date for the second vaccination in this series will be Tuesday, April 13, 2021.
