Gay E. Anderson Stewart

Heaven welcomed a sassy 5’2 angel on December 4th, 2020. Gay passed away in her home of congestive heart failure with three daughters at her side. She was born June 9, 1946 in Livingston and spent her younger years in Big Timber. She worked at several nursing homes and care facilities in Whitehall and Sheridan as a CNA where she made wonderful friendships with some amazing women. Gay loved her little flower garden especially the pansies, the color purple, she loved her wonderful neighbors, NHRA drag racing, having “girls coffee,” camping and picnics, crocheting things for others with lightning speed were favorites past times. Survivors are her road trip partner and best friend of 34 plus years, Lyle Reed of Whitehall, daughters Renee Woods of Williston, ND, Corinna Ashley and son, Camden Stewart both of Janesville, WI, step-children Candace (Tom) Ahlin and Terry (Kitty) Reed of Whitehall, Tony (Naomi) Reed of Junction City, CA and Kristi Reed of Billings. Gay was also a grandma and great grandma to a whole bunch of wild grandkids, the pictures that covered her fridge proved it.... she loved getting pictures of them.

At her request, there are no public services planned though family will celebrate her life and scatter her ashes among the wild flowers in the mountains in the summer of 2021.
