WHITEHALL -- Wilma Joyce Long, age 82, of Whitehall passed away April 3, 2020, at Butte, Montana.
Wilma was born June 17, 1937, at Salt Lake City, Utah to William and Margaret (Marstella) Crellin. She was raised and attended school in Salt Lake City. She was involved in a car accident as a young girl resulting in her temporarily quitting school. However, she later graduated in California. She married Charles Long May 25, 1960, in Nevada. They moved to Sacramento, CA where she had various jobs working at a dry cleaner, as a nurse’s aide, and then began her own business of house cleaning and painting. She and Charles later divorced. Wilma moved to Whitehall in 2000.
Wilma enjoyed watching game shows and sitcoms on TV. She was proud that she was a 4-time cancer survivor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters Geraldine and Marjorie and a twin brother at birth.
Survivors include her 2 children Cindie Long of Texas and Michael Long of Oklahoma and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Interment has taken place in the Whitehall Cemetery at Whitehall, Montana.
