Serving Southern Jefferson County in the Great State of Montana
The Whitehall Farmer’s Open Air Street Market will begin this Saturday.
The market will take place every Saturday from June 15 to October 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Legion Street Park.
The official grand opening celebration is June 29.
The committee has been working on a calendar of fun demonstrations, a variety of vendors, and most importantly the food producers who will set up tables to sell their goods to the community.
The Whitehall Garden Club co-managers, Ann Palmer and Dorie Westhoven along with Bethel Wagner, Lynn Kountz, Amy Martin, Ellen Wagner, Charles Shank, Judy McCrossin and the Whitehall Chamber have been “busy bees” arranging this year’s demonstrations along with the advertising to make this a successful Saturday event as in the past years.
This is a family and friends tradition bringing the community together to improve farm to table relationships with the farmers and food producers. Organizers also feel the community has more to share and can make some money for their groups or organizations by selling items, repurposing, baking, plantings, and other creative wares.
Vendor spaces are only $5 per Saturday.
