Booster Club promotes school events

Basketball, wrestling, and speech and debate season is at hand. With Whitehall High School extra curricula's, it seems there is often an event to attend. Our Whitehall Booster Club is proud to work with our school, our students and our community to raise funds and provide support for our student activities. Whitehall Booster Club's desire is to help facilitate an environment that inspires and educates students/athletes, coaches, parents, and the community to collectively create a positive and spirited atmosphere for all events.

Booster Club has monthly meetings throughout the school year to identify areas of support. We provide memorable gifts for our seniors on senior night. We organize fundraisers to pay for things such as basketball equipment. In 2018, we purchased a Dr. Dish for our basketball players. We also sell apparel and items for team spirit. We decorate the gym or football field for special occasions and students also have sashes on their lockers provided by Booster Club. Booster Club supplies items not covered in standard school budgets.

Currently, Booster Club is looking to raise money for a big ticket item. There are five possibilities to focus on, so we are asking the community to vote on what they feel is most important. Once the votes are tallied, we will begin actively fundraising for the number one project. Project possibilities (in no particular order):

1. The Crows Nest (a rebuild of this announcer's box by the football field)

2. Replace the bleachers in the varsity gym

3. Refinish the tennis courts

4. Purchase an LCD reader board for Whitehall Street

5. Plumb and remodel the outdoor concession stand

Opportunities include: Become a Booster Club Member (meeting attendance isn't required, but attending meetings is another way to support us!), Help with event planning, Donate time or money to specific events, and/or Spread the word about Booster Club's involvement in sports and school events!

Any time you need a write off, please consider Booster Club because 100% of the funds go toward supporting our students and their activities. Booster Club membership is $25 for families, but we also have bronze, silver, and gold level sponsorship levels that offer advertising in printed programs. One time donations are extremely beneficial and highly appreciated.
