Patsy G. Ballard

Patsy Gail Ballard passed away at the age of 70 on July 15, 2018 with her family by her side following a brief battle with cancer. Patsy was born in Glendive, MT on April 10, 1948 to George and Betty Johnson.

Patsy worked at the Meadowlark Manor in Whitehall for many years and loved her residents. She treated everyone with respect and kindness and loved nothing better than preparing them wonderful food, planning many activities and holiday celebrations, and assisting them with their needs, whatever they may be.

She loved her home and her yard and always had an ongoing project. Patsy looked forward to every spring and couldn’t wait to get out in her yard to enjoy the sunshine, growing her flowers, and beautifying her yard with ornaments. Patsy loved a good garage sale and many of her friends knew of her penchant for finding unique cookie jars for her vast collection. The ‘hunt’ for her collectibles gave her a great deal of pleasure.

Patsy is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Larry and Bobby Johnson.

Patsy is survived by her children Wendy (Kreig) Henman of Boise, ID; Travis (Jodi) Chapel of Billings; Wesley Chapel of Billings; Jamie (Paul) Ballard of Whitehall; and her brothers Marty (Tammy) Johnson and Calvin (Michelle) Johnson all of Whitehall, numerous grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Per Patsy’s request, there will be no service. Cremation has taken place. K&L Mortuaries in Whitehall is assisting the family. Patsy’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude for her friends’ kind and generous attention and assistance in her final weeks.
