Serving Southern Jefferson County in the Great State of Montana
Visitors at the Jefferson Valley Museum are greeted with tubs of flowers from Wagner's Nursery. It looked like 'effort' to get them unloaded and situated for all to enjoy. The Museum is a grateful recipient of Wagner's generosity.
Last week Nancy Norville visited with Julian and Sue Norville, as well as Mike. Nancy has been living in Utah while taking treatments for a medical problem. Home is really Alaska for Nancy and her husband Wes.
When you drive by the Munson residence on Hwy 359, you can see a Doctor's Carriage completely restored and For Sale! Russell Munson has a real knack for the artistry of wood (and especially buggies) working. It's worth the drive to have a look!
Kay Metully Ingrando and her daughter, Cathy, stopped by to drop off some photos from Kay Duncan for the Cardwell School Centennial. Some of those former scholars are hard to identify, but it makes for research. Since Kay was raised here, Cathy wanted to take Kay's three grandkids that had made the trip with them down to the original home. Mosquitoes made the trip very brief. The Ingrandos are from Florida.
A big 'thank you' to all of the workers, contributors and those who supported the yard sale for Love.inc and She is Safe. Some of the items that didn't sell will be part of an auction later this month. Bill Carhuff was a big help and encouragement.
Claire Best had a quick visit from her daughter, Meredith, and hubby, Rob, from Strathmore, Alberta. Claire always shares her family with lots of us. So, we had meals and lots and lots of visiting and laughter! It was too short a visit.
Remember, it's not too late to get those registration letters to Dawn Lewton for the Centennial Celebration on August 4th at the Cardwell Gym. Buz and Judy Cowdrey have in progress a 'bronze' cougar statue to be ready for the party.
"Blessed is the Nation whose God is the LORD." Psalm 32:2 Have a wonderful Independence Day!!
