Town Pump adding parking

Over the past several weeks, local residents may have noticed the removal of a building adjacent to the Town Pump location in Whitehall.

Once construction is completed, the area will be used for additional parking for the store located at 415 N. Whitehall.

Dan Sampson, Construction and Development Manager for Town Pump Inc., said while they don't rule out any potential future development at the site, the current plans for the area are for providing a space for more parking.

"The lots will be regarded and graveled to provide overflow parking for our employees and customers," Sampson said.
