Chamber seeking members

The Whitehall Chamber of Commerce is continuing to seek renewals and new members in 2018.

At the monthly meeting last week, Chamber President Jan Thorne said there are currently 65 renewals and 10 new members and the board is still working to increase this number.

“Hopefully it will be an increase over last year,” she said.

The Chamber is also looking for more donations for the Black Tie Blue Jeans event scheduled for April 28. Thorne said they would like to have donation forms returned to them at least one week prior to the event.

Preparations for the annual Chamber Easter Egg hunt are well underway and the Whitehall Garden Club will once again be helping out with stuffing the eggs and with prizes. The Club will be meeting March 14, 21, and 28 at the home of Karen Ranta to work on the Easter Egg Hunt.

They will be meeting from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the residence located at 11 E. 1st St. in Whitehall.
